September newsletter
Administration says:
The whole school has been a busy bee during the past two weeks in order to be able to have our beloved students back.
On behalf of all our staff members, we’d like to welcome everybody in and hope that the year carries out lots of new events that would prepare our children for a better future life.
Books and copybooks are still sold in the school bookstore. Students will receive their uniforms during the first couple of weeks. Cooperation made our mission easier.
Congratulations GIS
Receiving our IGCSE students back at home, in our school campus, was an event that many parents, teachers, and students awaited.
Being back at home brings back great feelings of warmth and safety. We hope that this would reflect on our students’ results when they sit for their IGCSE exams by the end of the year.
The wonderful results that they have achieved during the past two years, although away from home, have always filled us with pride. The past year’s results also reflected both our students’ and teachers’ enthusiasm and determination. A word of thank you will not be enough for the effort exerted in that regards, but for sure without cooperation nothing would have been achieved.

Science News
Dear parents
This year, our curriculum will be mostly based on classroom activities and scientific experiments. Students will be predicting, experimenting, observing and then recording their data to come to their conclusion. This will help them understand and deduce on their own the objectives of the lesson. Students will be evaluated for their work during such experiments. Besides activity sheets, extra worksheets will be distributed whenever the need arises.
Instead of a homework assignment, Grades 1 and 2 will receive a school to home activity on a weekly basis. Yet, they will need to review what they covered in class, and we appreciate it if you encourage your child to explain the lesson concept orally instead of memorizing it.
Activities Grades 1-6
Teachers in the science department are working on having a theme every month. Students will be working and searching for ideas and facts related to that theme. They will have few minutes before starting a period to share ideas they got either with their classmates or with other classes.
There will also be riddles and facts posted in their playground. Students will be submitting their answers for the riddles to their teacher. Every 2-3 weeks winners names will be displayed and gifts will be distributed.
Throughout the year, students will be presenting a lesson or explaining any project they have done. This will help in our plans for the science fair. Work done by students will be highly appreciated.
Students will have a role in decorating our campus. Planting and displaying our work will be part of what we focus on.
Throughout the year, we will be posting pictures of your children from our programs, field trips, and all activities done in school. Weekly plans, worksheets, interesting references related to their lessons, newsletters, and videos will also be uploaded on our website.
